2 “Teenage” Girls Who Refused to Detonate IED Surrender to Nigeria Army in Borno

Two teenage girls who refused to detonate improvised explosive devices strapped to their bodies by the Boko Haram terrorists group and willingly surrendered to the Nigerian Army have described the terrorist organization as unislamic.
Speaking in Dandal Kura Radio International programme the two urged others still being misled to renounce the group and return to the society where they would be reintegrated and reunited with their loved ones.
The two Fusam and Hussaina disclosed that they were sent on suicide mission but on reaching their point decided not to detonate the IED because it is not the teaching of the religion they practice to shed blood and take human life.
Recounting their ordeal in the hands of the terrorist groups, the two teenagers one only nine years old alleged that they were married to fighters against their will and have barely anything to eat.
They described life in the terrorist cell as hellish with people being executed for committing negligible offences and women and children being treated just as slaves. One of the girl said she was given out to the group by her uncle who died later in the hands of the group.
