Ohaneze Youth Council is not the main Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth!
You see this individual who calls himself the Ohaneze Youth Council President, one Mr. Igboayaka, he should not be taken seriously.
He is one of those individuals exploiting the Igbo name to create confusion. He was once arrested for using the name Ohaneze to mislead the public and stir unnecessary controversy.
For clarity, his organisation is Ohaneze Youth Council, which is not the same as the Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth, the recognised umbrella youth body of the Igbo nation.
His activities are largely limited to issuing press statements designed to confuse and deceive members of the public who may not understand that such statements do not originate from the legitimate Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth structure.
He has consistently positioned himself as an enabler of confusion rather than a representative voice of Igbo youths.
The good thing, however, is that very few people take him seriously.
Anytime you see a statement accredited to Ohaneze Youth, check if it is fake or real before assuming that it from Igbo Youth as a body.
Interestingly, his so-called Ohaneze Youth Council appears to have no clear tenure structure almost like a permanent one-man position.
