Group mourns the loss of member killed by ‘one chance’criminals in FCT

Otu Oka‑Iwu Abuja announces with deep sorrow the agonizing and confirmed death of one of our own, Chigbo, Princess Mediatrix Esq, whose life was cut short by the rising tide of “One Chance” operators in Abuja.

The confirmation of her body at the Kubwa General Hospital morgue has left our Association pained, angry, and deeply concerned. Princess was not just a name on our roll; she was a valuable, active jovial member, a well respected humble member whose actions at all times is beyond compassionate, she was a beacon of grace. To lose such a vibrant soul to the cold hands of mindless criminals is a tragedy that cuts to the marrow of our brotherhood.

Princess Mediatrix Chigbo Esq, was a senior lawyer, former Treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch, and a prominent member of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA, Nigeria), Abuja.

She’s a member of the Igbo Lawyers Association known as Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja branch. She was also the treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja branch until her demise.
