Reacting to criticism. Catholic Church explains it never ignored Late Ubah

I have since received further confirmation that the distinguished late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was duly recognized during the commissioning and dedication of the Catholic Church in Nnewi.

His name was clearly listed in the event brochure (attached below), and he was also honoured with a minute of silence at the commencement of the programme.

This clarification is necessary to properly exonerate the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi from the claims made by our brother, James Louis Okoye, in his now-trending video. It appears Louis may have reacted based on an omission, as it is now alleged that he arrived at the event late.

However, I believe his reaction stemmed from genuine affection and deep respect for the charitable nature of the late Senator.

For the sake of posterity, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah deserves such honour—anytime, any day.
I am confident that Louis will make the appropriate clarifications when confronted with these verified facts.

In is not in contention the late Anambra billionaire businessman and politician funded the building of that church edifice to an appreciable level (now estimated to be about 80% completion) before his demise, which necessitated the efforts of others to see to its completion today.

Perhaps the broader message here is that those who truly understood the late Senator’s goodwill and impactful deeds will never remain silent in the face of any attempt to diminish his legacy.

In truth, anyone who shared a close bond with Senator Ubah would not tolerate any gathering or narrative that seeks to dampen or dim his contributions.

Though Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has passed on, his legacies must be preserved.
May his beautiful soul continue to rest in perfect peace.
