Will cultists become future sub urban terrorists? ,A Lagos experience

ORILE IGANMU, LAGOS: On Wednesday, January 14, at Orile Iganmu Alagba, Aye (NBM) cultists attacked an Eiye (ACN) number 2 man, Saheed alias Emiloju, during a child-naming ceremony. He was rushed to the hospital but later died on Friday and was buri£d the same day. While some Ayes claim Saheed had long been on their watchlist, others say the attack was retaliation for the November 2025 incident reported by Naija Confra, where an Eiye member named Babalawo sh0t and k!lled Ayes at Igunnuko Festival in Orile Iganmu. Saheed, who grew up in Orile Iganmu before relocating, was a strong agbero who later joined Eiye after making money and was reportedly involved in several k!ll!ng of Ayes. (Video on TG).

The naming ceremony was hosted by a non-cultist agbero named Opio, who invited fellow agberos, some of whom are Eiye members. Saheed knew the area was not safe, so he attended with a gvn, while the other two Eiye members with him were unarm£d. When the Aye att@ckers came, they attacked Saheed from behind, causing him to fall, while the other Eiye members fled. Before Saheed could reach his gun, he was pinned down and attacked with an ax£. The att@ck was brief because the fleeing Eiye members raised alarm, causing attention and forcing the att@ckers to flee. Saheed was taken to the hospital, and di£d two days later. He was married to 3 wives and had children.

Many sources have accused a violent Aye with so many criminal records, named Small Messi of directly carrying out the att@ck, while others say it was done by his squad. The situation remains tense, with Eiye vowing retaliation. Reject Cultism.
