Mayokun Id Delight Benue State is under siege by killer herdsmen as they are moving in the villages chasing the people, destroying thier crops.
The herdsmen are infiltrated the communities with weapons the locals can’t resist .
Infact thier Agenda is to live among the locals and claim indigenship in wake of the heat against terrorists in the Northern part of the country.
What is curious is the silence of the security and government over this invasion.
The government and political class are adamant leaving the problem to civil rights organizations.
In some places particularly in Katsina Alia some notorious militia gangs have brought in herdsmen and chased away locals from thier communities and are collecting money from the herdsmen to stay.
This is disturbing and needs urgent intervention…
