“We were in Church when all of a sudden we heard noise from outside. I stepped out of the church and saw four armed men standing outside. I grabbed my little daughter and wanted to run but one of the men threatened to shoot me if made any attempt to run. So I stopped. Then they removed the other worshippers from the church and ordered us to get going. When we got to a nearby church, we realized they had also removed all the members of that church. Together, they asked all of us to go with them. We began to journey into the bush with them. We got to a village and they started beating us heavily without any provocation. After the thorough beating, they asked us to continue the journey into the bush. When we got to another village in the bush, we saw a lot of people there. Some of them not members of our community. That was where I escaped because of the crowd there. I escaped through the bushes until I got back to our community….”
Mr: Can someone with conscience imagine what this man saw when he said “we saw a lot of people there…” Crowd of people so much he was able to escape. 177 Christians plus probably several hundreds if not thousands more. What is their fate? How and where will they end up? There only crime? WHO and how they chose to worship. How can this be allowed to go on? It shouldn’t. And it won’t.
