BANDITS STRIKE AGAIN, STEAL MOTORCYCLES IN BROAD DAYLIGHT
This afternoon, two motorcycles were stolen by armed bandits between Turare – Kitibawa way in Maƙera Ward, Dutsin-Ma LGA, Katsina State. The attack comes just a day after similar incidents, where bandits had seized mobile phones from residents at phone-charging points and took fuel from a vendor in Kitibawa.
Residents say the bandits operated with brazen confidence in broad daylight, and their actions have sparked fear and unease within the community. Witnesses reported that, following the motorcycles thefts, the bandits escaped without resistance.
This series of attacks is raising alarms, especially given the peace agreement that had been reached with armed groups in the LGA. The safety of residents is now in question as such incidents continue to unfold despite promises of peace.
