Anambra State government shuts down New Motorcycle Spare Parts Market in Nnewi today the 23rd of February 2026, after going on inspection around the market to know the level of compliance with governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo order for government owned markets in Anambra to start opening on Mondays and realised most of the shops were locked.

Government officials came to Nnewi markets last week Monday to warn the traders about shutting down the markets by today if they come and discover the compliance level is low.
