I would like to specially appreciate every Nigerian who spoke and stood up for Tracy Nicholas Ohiri regarding her arrest involving the Honourable Minister of Works, David Umahi.
As a Senator and as a woman, I unequivocally condemn the use of force or intimidation to silence anyone, especially women, who speak up about harassment or any form of misconduct.
I respectfully appeal to the Minister, David Umahi, to meet with Tracy in good faith and work towards resolving any issues through dialogue.
Upon my return to Abuja, I shall seek audience with both parties to discuss a resolution as justice, dignity, and the rule of law must always guide our actions.
