Gunmen have attacked missionary students of the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN) Bukuru in Jos, Plateau State, in a confirmed incident that occurred on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

The victims, identified as Joshua Ata Danlami and another student known as “Brother Pius”, alongside a third missionary student, were returning from an evangelism outreach when they were ambushed by unknown attackers.

The gunmen opened fire on the students, forcing them to flee for safety. All three sustained varying degrees of injuries but successfully escaped alive. They are currently receiving medical treatment.

The attackers remain unidentified, and no group has claimed responsibility. As of now, there has been no official statement from security agencies, and no arrests have been made.
