OFFICIAL APOLOGY AND CLARIFICATION TO RCCG

I sincerely apologize to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for the misunderstanding in my write-up yesterday.
I would like to set the records straight.
My previous write-up was based on the information made available to me at the time. I have never personally met or spoken with the RCCG branch pastor involved. Communication had been between my pastors, the landlord, and the branch pastor.
I only responded based on the information I received.
After further investigation by OPM lawyers, who met with the RCCG branch pastor and senior RCCG leadership, it was clarified that the ₦1 million handed over by the OPM branch pastor was not relocation money or settlement money, as earlier stated by me, HRM King Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, on the OPM page.
The RCCG branch pastor explained to senior RCCG leadership and OPM lawyers that the money was actually a refund for improvements made to the property by RCCG, and not for any form of relocation.
Therefore, I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and for incorrectly stating that OPM gave RCCG money to relocate.
I regret the mix-up.
By the grace of God, both bodies of Christ — OPM and RCCG — have now resolved the matter peacefully.
The RCCG branch pastor and senior RCCG leadership have assured us that the property will be vacated by the end of June 2026, and the planned OPM Free School can now move forward.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
Signed:
HRM King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere
General Overseer, OPM
