I visited NIGERCEM Cement factory, Nkalagu, alongside manufacturers, designers, builders, and contractors as we advance plans for the establishment of a new cement factory in Ebonyi State.
Our decision to build a new cement plant is driven by the need to fast-track industrialization, create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and reduce the cost of building materials across Ebonyi State, the South-East, and Nigeria at large.
With abundant limestone deposits in Nkalagu and Effium, we are confident that this project is not only viable but sustainable for decades to come.
This initiative is a key component of our People’s Charter of Needs Agenda and a testament to our commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous Ebonyi State.
