Anambra State has approved a ₦200 billion capital base for the Anambra Development and Investment Corporation (ADIC), marking a major push to transform the state into an investment and industrial hub.

The initiative, backed by government and private investors through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, is designed to finance critical infrastructure, attract local and foreign investments, create jobs, and accelerate economic growth.

By transferring strategic state assets to ADIC, the Soludo administration is laying the foundation for a business-friendly investment platform that many see as a key pillar in the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor—a vision aimed at unlocking the economic potential of Nigeria’s South-East.

The race to build the South-East economy is gaining momentum.
