This is another Monday that our children did not go to school in Nnewi and some other communities in Anambra State despite being in exam session.

Children in parts of the state like Awka wrote exams today.
Children in other parts of the world went to school today.
But our children in Nnewi are at home sleeping and playing because Monday is part of weekend rather than the beginning of the week.
Because Monday is weekend, most shops, markets and places of business are under locks as I write this. Consequently, many Umunnas had their kindred meeting in the morning.
At times, when I lash out against Biafra agitation many think I do it because I have nothing else to write about.
I do it because I know many who support Biafra agitation have no experience of it’s numerous cost factors. While some who experience the debilitating cost do not adequately understand the implications of the devastating impact.
So, I have to keep talking till we consciously understand the self harm we brought upon ourselves.
It is an anomaly for children to sit at home on Mondays when the rest of the world is wildly awake and busy setting the tone for the week.
Therefore, I dare say, its a great disservice to the entrepreneurial and progressive spirit of humanity for anyone to justify or accept this assault on our development.
Monday Sit at Home creates the picture of insecurity. It does not paint the picture of resistance as many impressionable minds think.
If it is resistance, then Ndi Igbo in UK, US, Germany, China, Indonesia, Lagos, Abuja, Kano who are supporting this uncanny resistance should stay at home every Monday.
Once you are Onye Igbo and you justify Monday Sit at Home, yet every Monday you step out to work or carry out your normal activities, then I dare say you are a hypocrite.
For those who always say, but Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB have put an end to Monday Sit at Home, I dare say, you are the worst set of hypocrites.
Finally, for those who tell me Ikolo it’s enough, talk about other things, I leave this blessing to you, may Monday be useless to you for the rest of your lives.
