1. DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND

• Cultists Attack / Major Arms Recovery: Intelligence-led Community-Collavorative raid at 0200hrs on a suspected criminal hideout at Amukpe, Sapele LGA resulted in the arrest of 18 suspects (16 male, 2 female) linked to a violent secret cult group.
• Arms & Ammunition Recovered: 3 locally fabricated pistols, 6 live cartridges, 8 rounds of assorted live ammunition, 2 axes, 1 bottle of suspected illicit substance, and 2 cannabis grinders.
• Defilement Arrest: 36-year-old Peter Jacob arrested for repeatedly d*filing an 11-year-old pupil; victim taken to Central Hospital, Warri for medical examination.

1. FCT POLICE COMMAND

• Massive Coordinated Raids: Simultaneous raids conducted by operatives from 11 divisions (Lokogoma, Byazhin, Jikwoyi, Karmo, Nyanya, Karu, Kurudu, Zuba, Gwagwalada, Kwali, and Bwari) across criminal hotspots and uncompleted buildings.

1. AKWA IBOM STATE POLICE COMMAND

• Murder / Arrest of 4 Suspects: Sting operation following a viral video led to the arrest of 4 suspects (David Emmanuel Okon, 45; Joseph Effiong Gibson, 39; Essien William Solomon, 23; Imoh Udoh Asuquo, 28) for the fatal beating of 21-year-old Emmanuel Iboro Effiong over alleged poultry theft.
• Corpse Recovery: Body exhumed from a shallow forest grave; deposited at Chrispa Funeral Home for autopsy. Efforts ongoing to arrest other fleeing suspects.
• Drug Enforcement — Oruk Anam: 2 suspects (Udeme Victor Jonah, Royal Inionong Udokan) arrested at 0400hrs with suspected cannabis sativa at Nung Ita Village.
• Drug Enforcement — Nkana Village: 2 additional suspects (Sunday Etim Akpan, Imaobong Sunday Etim) arrested at 2230hrs at a suspected drug hideout.

1. OYO STATE POLICE COMMAND

• Suspected Murder: One Bami Yahaya found with multiple machete cuts at Agbede Village, Ikere axis; died at Isalu clinic. Corpse deposited at Fadok Hospital Mortuary, Iseyin, for autopsy. Family members invited for questioning.
• Armed Robbery / Arrest of 3 Suspects: 3 armed hoodlums (Wasiu Kazeem, Taoreed Tiamiu, Qudus Opatola) arrested for a home invasion at Idioro Yidi, Agugu, Ibadan, where they robbed residents of mobile phones valued at ₦650,000.

• Suspect Neutralized: 1 kidnapper fatally injured after attempting to evade a police roadblock; 3 GSM handsets, 1 axe, and documents recovered from the vehicle.
• Tactical Response: All entry and exit routes into Yauri Town immediately blocked upon distress call. Efforts ongoing to rescue the victim and apprehend fleeing suspects.

1. OGUN STATE POLICE COMMAND

• D”filement (Domestic): 38-year-old Akindipe Kayode accused of indecently assaulting a 13-year-old girl (Owolabi Alimot Ajoke) at Laderin, Abeokuta; victim referred for medical examination and treatment.
• Defilement (Foreign National): Chinese national, Mr. Wang arrested for allegedly d*filing 13-year-old Ajara Salifu near 9Star Company, Tollgate, Ogere; victim taken to Victory Hospital for medical examination. Suspect denied allegation; medical report awaited.
• Recovered Stolen Vehicle: Toyota Sienna XLE 06 (gold, Reg. No. Lagos FST 493 JW) recovered at Sagamu after being abandoned since 14 May 2026. Efforts ongoing to trace the rightful owner.
