Former Army Chief Irabor Calls For Immediate Arrest Of Ahmad Gumi And Sani Jingir:
Former Chief of Army Staff, General Lucky Irabor, has called for the arrest of Islamic clerics Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir and Sheikh Ahmad Gumi over their alleged statements he believes could incite public unrest.
Speaking on Channels Television, Irabor said some statements made by the clerics at different times could further worsen Nigeria’s security challenges.
He stressed that no one is above the law and urged the authorities to take appropriate action where necessary.
