🇳🇪 Niger: The Revelations Concerning the Mutiny:
This is General Amine Idriss Ahmed, the head of the Chadian Air Force. He is the one who contacted the Nigerien 🇳🇪 Captain to inform him that his country, Chad, was preparing an intervention that would be led by French Special Forces based in Chad.
Before the General contacted him, the Captain had received two calls from a Colonel, a friend of his in Chad, concerning the same issue: that an intervention was being prepared in Chad to help the mutineers.
Concerning Ivory Coast and Benin, the Captain said that he received a call from two family members of former Nigerien 🇳🇪 President Mohamed Bazoum. They informed him that Ivory Coast was also preparing an intervention that would be led by French Special Forces based in Ivory Coast.
He added that, according to the call, they informed him that the Beninese President was in Ivory Coast but had returned home abruptly and had set up a crisis cell to coordinate with Ivory Coast to send French forces into Niger, and that ECOWAS had agreed and given the go-ahead.
