👏 CP Afolabi, PLEASE CALL YOUR MEN TO ORDER — ABA IS TIRED!

This is a passionate appeal to the Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi: please, sir, call your men to order.

The alleged multiple checkpoints and money extortion being reported around Aba—particularly from Batta Junction, Azikiwe Road, Brass Junction and other locations—need urgent attention.

Imagine being a keke driver in Aba. You wake up early, buy fuel for over ₦1,000, spend money repairing your vehicle, battle traffic and the daily struggles of making ends meet—only to encounter multiple checkpoints where you’re allegedly pressured to part with money.

How much can a struggling driver take home at the end of the day? 😔

These people are not asking for luxury. They are trying to feed their families and survive.

If these allegations are true, then this is no longer just an inconvenience—it is economic pressure on ordinary Aba residents who are already struggling.

CP Afolabi, we are appealing to you: please investigate this situation and take action where necessary. The police are supposed to protect citizens, not make hardworking people feel like they are being punished for trying to earn a living.

And to our Governor, Alex Otti, sir, biko, come to our aid.

Aba is working hard to rebuild its economy. The last thing hardworking traders, artisans, transporters and business owners need is additional pressure on the roads.

We respect the police. We respect the law. But we also deserve dignity.

If there are legitimate checkpoints, let them be clearly regulated and monitored. If there are officers abusing their positions, please let them be held accountable.

Aba people are tired. We are appealing, not fighting. Please hear us.
