What happened to the Mexican cow breed introduced years ago, asks lecturer as Nigeria continues to battle non conflict animal protein?

I remember when “Mexico Cows” was spoken about all over Akwa Ibom, one would think that by now you won’t see Fulani cows around here as Mexico cows would be in ranches all over here in hundreds of thousands displacing the regular Fulani cattle business. The journey of this obvious deceit started from around 2016. Some of you kept saying then that Buhari’s declared cows were barren. How far with our “Mexico Cows”? There was a time when the media quoted them saying they already imported 2000 of these breed into an already established ranch. Are they also barren like Buhari’s cows? I would rather think that they are worse off. I hope Akwa Ibom people can explain without anger what happened to the project./Marshal Sampson
