At least three people have been reported dead following separate night attacks in Barkin Ladi and Mangu LGAs of Plateau State.
One person was killed in Yilpo village of Mangu district in Mangu LGA at minutes after midnight while residents were sleeping. Mr. Fwangshak Karimu, 32, was among local village watchers targeted in the attack by terrorists speaking Fulani dialect according to survivors, who utilized an ongoing rain in the community to sneak in and fire on their guard post.
In NTV village of Barkin Ladi, two people were reported dead in similar attacks after our team published terror alerts for the region south of Jos.
