The good performance of the Ebonyi NECO candidates in 2026 has nothing to do with the Ebonyi State Government. Nobody should give credit to Ebonyi State Government. Most of the Ebonyi schoolchildren are intelligent. Our children are just struggling on their own and not that the Ebonyi State Government has done anything extraordinary to better the education sector. There was no time state government in Ebonyi was given credit for the performance of Ebonyians in WAEC & NECO examinations. An intelligent student is an intelligent student not minding the circumstance of studentship and scholarship.
Ebonyi State University was the second best public university in Nigeria when Dr Sam Egwu was governor. People sought admission into the varsity with speed of light. Can this be said of today’s EBSU?
Congratulations to our hardworking students!/CK Nwoba
