Ebonyi State Government has appointed 1500 people as Executive Assistants to the Governor. What you should know about this meaningless appointments:
- There’s actually strong opposition in Ebonyi State, and this is against the governor’s earlier insinuation that he would be running for second tenure without opposition. He’s not finding things funny any longer. Meetings upon meetings. No governor who has performed well needs this deluge to be defending his government in the media.
- 1500 poor people have been birthed today. People who should go hustle and better their lives instead chose to be paid N100K for five months ㅡ October, November, December, January & February, 2027. Once the governorship election is over, their appointment comes to an abrupt end whether or not the governor wins. There’s nowhere they’ll make money from as the appointment is just a special purpose vehicle.
- They don’t have offices. Their mandate is to be constituting nuisance in their communities. No value. They’ve already started addressing themselves as Honourable. The nuisance has already begun.
- Some of them may not witness the election of 2027 that’ll avail themselves to be used to attack the opposition and their rally venues. If they come to attack us, we’ll delete them. No two ways to it. We can’t watch them cause us harm and get away with it. If they like let them not take this caution seriously. The kind of opposition we’ll provide from November will be unprecedented in the annals of opposition politics in Ebonyi State. We’ll not attack anyone or facility, but anyone who attacks us will say their last prayers. I’ll be directly involved in the reprisal and it’ll be br-utal and total. It’s better everyone gives peace a chance so we have a calm state till the end of the polls.
- The 1500 destitute Ebonyians as Executive Assistants won’t make any difference in the media as they’re tipped to do. They don’t have the platforms, and it’s late to start establishing them now. We’ll run them out of street. We’ll not allow Ebonyi State Government to gain a foothold in publicity. We’re way ahead of them. We don’t need up to 50 hands in the media to deliver. The Ebonyi State Government deploying 1500 people to social media says much about the failure of the government and its low performance index. The Francis Nwifuru’s government is depressed and having inferiority complex.
