So here’s what ignorant people like this guy don’t understand. As imperfect as we are, the US is a country of rights and laws. Our First Amendment freedom of religion forbids us from using religion as a basis for government actions, including the issuance of visas. It would be illegal for Trump to allow Nigerian Christians in while excluding Nigerian Muslims.
It’s a terrible turn of events for those who hope to escape this totalitarian regime. But don’t blame Trump. Blame Tinubu’s shameful actions which triggered this. Realize this ban came AFTER Tinubu’s team of liars visited DC, and the Senate approved his slate of scammers as ambassadors. And the genocide rages on. He had a chance to do things right, but chose to do things wrong. This is a direct consequence.
