There is this thing about some police officers in Benue State Police Command, Makurdi, Makurdi that many of us don’t just understand. They are so complicite in some of these cases, just read this shameful act

I wish to bring this to your notice for possible action.
There is this group of boys ( robbers) that do operate at Lafia Junction in North Bank. Their target is heavy duty vehicles. Once they get one they forcefully extort money and other valuables from the driver, Yesterday, my friend fell victim to those boys. He left Calabar to Abuja, and called to inform me that he will be passing through Makurdi. He still called later in the evening when he was in Vandeikya. On arrival at Makurdi late at night, he called that they intend to pullover at Heavy duty park. Shortly after that, another call came in that they were attached at Lafia Junction.
At Lafia Junction, they were flagged down by someone and the driver slowed down only for 3 boys to jump on board and started struggling with the driver. Learning that they were speaking Tiv, he then spoke to them in Tiv demanding an explanation for this. In response, they stabbed him and pushed him out of the moving vehicle.
The driver did not stop until he got to quarantine check point, close to police C division, those boys were still on board. Sighting the presence of police the driver then stopped. The hoodlums were arrested and taken to C division of the Nigeria police, in North Bank. At the station, I was made to understand that those boys were arrested in December 2025 but we’re freed.
My worry is that if there is no follow up, they will still be released without trial and will still continue with this dastardly act. My friend who was pushed out of the vehicle was treated at Wueseter clinic in North Bank.
