The president has the power to make anyone who has the right to be the chairman of INEC no matter how bad it is because the issue of democracy in Nigeria is not based on the law of God.
During Good luck Ebele Jonathan, Professor Attahiru Jega was the president of INEC, during Buhari, Professor Mahmud was the president of THE INEC, now because of this president Muslims have recruited Christianity based on his chance some of us will use ethnicity and religion to raise people’s minds Bringing conflict between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria because of their own needs?
If you say that the president of INEC will not be fair to the people of the north or Islam during the presidential election, then there is no justice in every presidential election in this country because democracy like Nigeria is not built on justice. But it’s built on selfishness, hate and drowning and babakere.
In addition, all the presidential candidates of Nigeria are expected to be muslims.
When Muslims and Muslims were appointed to contest for presidency, Christians were very patient that there was a misfortune for President Tinubu to sit on the seat as some people say but he was used to establish religion. Christians in Nigeria have made compulsory patience on the leadership of Muslims and his deputy Muslims so that the country can be peaceful.
If that’s the case, why can’t we Muslims be patient because President Tinubu elected this person as INEC chairman?
Do we expect you to give power to those who want not God?
If it is said that he is the one who took the name of America that terrorists collecting Muslims are killing Christians, you Muslims, why don’t you say that Christian terrorists are killing your brothers?
Even if they put Satan on the chairman of INEC, they are all red.
President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has the power to vote for whoever he wants to be the chairman of the Nigerian electoral commission no matter his character, tribe or religion.
In addition, INEC has different staff among its leaders, big and small, men and women, and everyone has their own character. Changing INEC chairman is not the reason for socialism or presidential election.
If those arguing with the position given to this man talked about the number of killings in northern Nigeria, kidnapping, unemployment etc would have been better for them.
But I swear they are just wasting our time trying to cause religious or social conflict between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria because of some of their needs that have no effect on nation building.
I am therefore advising the leaders of Islamic law in Nigeria to focus on addressing the problems Muslims face especially in northern Nigeria from terrorists that kill people and humiliate them instead of turning their attention to the chairman of the electoral commission.
Don’t bring tribalism or religious fights to us because of some deception or envy that some have on others or because of politics that are against the laws of God.
We are tired of some people pretending in the name of religion or eating with religion, they are throwing the country into religious chaos.
Any religious cleric that you see trying to make noise, or make people angry about the religion and the name of religion, most of them are not the religion’s aim, it is their purpose, it is their intentions in their pockets or in the name of religion./Hussieni Mabera
