NOBODY BECOMES GREAT UNTIL THEY ARE HELPED BY GOD THROUGH OTHER PEOPLE!

He had no plan to migrate until he learned his uncle was leaving town with his wife, never to return.
His uncle was headed to an unknown country without a permanent residence visa. He said, “God ordered him to leave home; God would definitely show him the new location He promised him.” God also told him his blessings were in the land.
He joined his uncle and his wife, and they migrated together.
Not long after they settled in the new country, his uncle, coming from a family of farmers, started an animal husbandry business. This was after he survived a presumed assassination attempt by citizens of the new country. Even the king of the country was guilty of taking beautiful women for himself, so the king took his wife.
To appease him, the wealthy king gave him many gifts. From there, his new animal husbandry business was born.
Throughout this period of trial, Lot never had any issues. Possibly his uncle Abraham shielded him from many challenges. He was also in a similar business as his uncle.
Along the way, he enjoyed so much prosperity that his employees had trouble managing the space, even compared to Abraham’s workers. Genesis 13.
This prompted Abraham to make him a first-choice offer, allowing him to choose anywhere he wanted within the landscape. Lot chose the seemingly best-looking part of the land. He forgot that God’s blessings are not evidenced by looks. God is sovereign; he has a record of making great things out of nothing, making kings out of slaves.
So Lot moved his business and employees into the land, and that was Sodom and Gomorrah. The birthplace of gays, incest, and every known sexual perversion.
Some remarkable episodes were how Abraham prospered the most after Lot left him and how Lot made no single attempt to settle the conflicts between his workers and those of his uncle’s.
But in Genesis chapter 19, Lot was rescued from Sodom and Gomorrah, but none of his workers was with him anymore.
Whatever happened to Lot’s business and workforce, nobody could tell.
Possibly he lost his workforce and business to the atrocity in Sodom. His wife could not even make it out of the same land, but the Bible was silent on the whereabouts of his workers and business.
The same Bible was emphatic that Lot came out with virtually nothing, regardless of all he had made while he was with his uncle.
Beloved, it’s not enough to have a flourishing business or ministry; you must know where the wind of favor is coming into your business from.
Every destiny has its own destiny helpers’ allocation. Nobody is equipped to build his destiny by himself alone. We all require helpers at some point.
Those who miss their helpers or send them away are not exempted from the vacuum, stagnation, and frustrations that come from such episodes.
The greatness you seek is wrapped up in seasons, but the helpers you require to become great will show up through other people.
For those of us who refuse to develop relationship management capacity, it might not be very easy to receive and sustain helpers.
Jesus said, “Pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall people give to you”.
So it means yours won’t run over until people give to you. Remember, no stream would grow into a river without the contributions of so many other streams.
Similarly, nobody would become great if you do not understand how to attract people, sustain people, and be willing to help people too.
Avoid being a people user. Avoid draining people for your own interests.
Learn how to invest in other people. Self-centeredness is self-destruction. After this piece, you might need to make some calls to apologize or reconcile with some people. God has a purpose in bringing this message your way today. He is aware you read this truth, and He awaits what you will do with this truth.
May the Holy Spirit give you understanding and help you get it right. God will eternally resist the proud but gives abundant grace to the humble.
May this be your weekend of good news. May every force challenging your glorious destiny gather itself and be scattered into pieces. In Jesus’ name.
Please share and be a blessing.
