BIAFRA IS A DISTRACTION: THE IGBO MUST BECOME THE ECONOMIC MASTERS OF NIGERIA

I think my Igbo brothers and sisters need to concentrate on their natural gift of hard work, making money, setting up businesses, and passing exams. I think they should forget Biafra and instead concentrate on becoming the economic masters of Nigeria.
Revenge is sweeter and better from within the system.
Nigeria needs the Igbos. There is no Nigeria without the Igbos.
By putting so much energy into what is impossible, you are losing the plot. Let me explain. You can make a flag. You can make a speech. You can declare yourselves independent. But not one country will recognise you.
The Igbos need to instill discipline in their youth. They need to name and shame the criminal element that has brought so much shame to the community. And they need to stop taking criticism so personally.
I am not going to keep mentioning that my five Igbo cousins are all dead because of the war. I have done that already. Such is my control now, that when idiots use personal attacks because I point out that black is white and white is black, I no longer get angry. They are so predictable.
Money has ruined the social hierarchy in the Igbo community. A spare parts businessman with billions in the bank but no education, no sophistication, and no sense of etiquette is the new king on the block, while the educated elite is pushed aside into irrelevance.
This is a serious mistake. The new and the old need each other to become powerful.
Constantly lashing out against critics will not get you into Aso Rock. No one wants to work with people who will not listen to all aspects of the problem. No one wants to deal with cliques based on tribal make-up.
You have seen the resentment of Igbos in Lagos. It shocked you. It hurt many of you. Lagos was the last place you expected to face tribalism, but it is there. So now adapt to it. Armour yourselves against those who think thuggery wins the day.
It doesn’t.
Economic power wins the day.
The Jews make up 2 percent of America, but they control Wall Street, Hollywood, the media, Congress, and they own the White House. The likelihood of a Jew becoming President is zero. It will never happen. But when you own the White House, you own the United States.
Become this powerful in Nigeria.
No other tribal group has the acumen, the hard work ethic, and the unity from within like the Igbos of Nigeria have. Use it. Stop dreaming. Stop exposing your left and right flanks. Defend your centre. Take the hill. Win the war.
I rest my case.
