We Will Not Revoke The De@th Penalty For Anyone Who Insults The Prophet, Says His Eminence, The Sultan of Sokoto.
Sa’ad Abubakar III stated that the law prescribing punishment for anyone who insults the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) will not be repealed.
He said there will be no excuse or leniency for anyone who insults the Messenger of Allah (SAW) such a person will immediately face capital punishment.
He added that they will not sit back and watch someone disrespect the Messenger of Allah (SAW)whom they love above all and then refuse to take action against that person.
The Sultan further declared that no government or threat will prevent Muslims from implementing Sharia in Nigeria.
