IF YOU LACK FAITH, IT WOULD SEEM AS IF THE DEVIL IS VERY POWERFUL!
Yes when you lack faith on some issues, your outcome will embolden the devil, as if God hasn’t given it to you.
Friends, we have an army of people today in the body of Christ who love the Lord and follow Him. But at some point, they hit the wall and become discouraged because some of their needs aren’t met; some still could not recive their request even after prayers and fasting, and they do not seem to have a tangible explanation for these unpleasant results.
We saw a similar episode repeated when the demon-possessed child’s parent brought the child for deliverance, but none of the disciples could help and drive away the demon tormenting the innocent child.
Not until Jesus came down from the mountain. (Matt. 17). The father of the child was frustrated, as were the disciples.
Had Jesus not shown up to drive away the demon and also figure out the reason why it never worked with His disciples to avoid repetition, the disciples might have attributed such ugly development to very strong demonic foundational powers.
To cover their limitations while forgetting it was neither the power of the demon nor the family foundation—nothing more than their weak faith or lack of faith—that kept them from what God, through Jesus, had already provided for them.
Friends, this is my lesson this week: how many battles have you lost because you thought the devil was more powerful, God wasn’t ready to do it for you, you do not deserve such miracles, or your foundational powers are stopping you? But you forgot, it was none of these things; rather, your weak faith or lack of faith has kept you away from what God has already made available through Jesus for you and me.
The winning formula has never changed, beloved. Jesus still points out your faith as the missing link.
However, this applies only if you are aware that you are not living in sin, because sin naturally drives humans away from what God has prepared for you. Ask Adam, Eve, Gehazi, Sons of Scaver, etc.
Sin belongs to the devil, and he trades on it to frustrate the saints. You must stop sinning so it doesn’t stop you.
You need to build your word bank—the entirety of what you have in the world today was framed by God’s word, and they all respond and are still controlled and ordered by God’s word. For we know that everything in the word were framed by God’s word. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” — Hebrews 11:3
Acts 20:32: “I commend you to God and the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you your inheritance among God’s people.”
Pay attention: your inheritance, not a gift; it’s yours. God has built and factored such into His redemptive plan for you.
So get some faith-based materials, books, tapes, testimonies of some Christias, and build your faith to access God’s provision for you.
The devil is only strong when you do not do your part.
Faith will not come until you access God’s word, because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
God has made so much available for you. As long as you are not asking to waste it, God will give you if you believe.
