That is the story of my fellow TEACHER who has served humanity for over 25 years at #35,000 monthly salary under the rain and under the sun.
You wake up early to go school before 8.am sometimes with empty stomach.
You teach and make sure every student even the dumbest of them understood you.
You serve as a judge while in school, separating fights and settling misunderstandings among students.
And you come home exhausted every single day
When you come back you begin to mark assignments and like a content creator you also prepare content for the next day’s class.
You record and prepare result . Sometimes you keep awake to ensure you prepare and beat up time.
This is not to talk of what it takes to prepare academically to pass exams , pay school fees , sit for WAEC, go higher education to qualify for teaching job in Nigdria.
As a teacher I perfectly understand what teachers are passing through. Yet, instead of an award you be deleted before your time by elements who are not even human enough.
I am in tears as I write this post.
