I am personally sending this guy’s video directly to all Top Police Leaders in my contact. I’ve never had to report anyone directly to any Oga. But this guy MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE NIGERIAN POLICE Immediately. The fact that he’s bearing arms with such mentality is terrorism already. Terrorism is any act that terrifies and terrorises the people. I am personally terrorised by a police officer declaring that he will open fire on citizens who record him on duty. He openly questions the authority of the IGP – a disrespect we refuse to take. The commands of our country’s IGP must be obeyed – the Police has reaffirmed the rights of Nigerians to record officers on duty. This guy whose name is Newton ISOKPEHI is seen on TikTok declaring war on whoever videos him.
And why are we even recruiting men like him? Unprofessional. Uneducated. Untrained. With Zero respect for law and the rights of citizens.
I trust the leadership of our new IGP to deal immediately with this guy. IGP Tunji DISU is not the type to tolerate such behaviours. Anyone who seeks to protect him will also get in to trouble. This is part of the problem we want to solve in Nigeria – power drunkenness. You can’t carry guns and be ruled by ego and emotions. If you don’t dismiss this guy, expect another OGBEGBE from him and by then, Nigerians will remember that he was exposed yet nothing was done.
