AC Milan wins 3:1 against Chievo

AC Milan record their third win of the season as they emphatically see off Chievo with a convincing 3-1 win. Higuain opened the scoring in the 27th minute before adding to his tally eight minutes later to make it 2-0. Bonaventura’s wonderful strike from range put Milan three goals to the good before Pellissier pulled one back for Chievo. Calhanoglu thought he had made it 4-1 one minute from time but he was ruled offside. Chievo remain bottom and without a win whilst Milan climb to 10th.

AC Milan will go into their next fixture full of confidence having recorded back-to-back wins. The Milan Derby is next up for Milan as they seek to continue to climb up the table. Milan have scored seven goals in their last two fixtures and will certainly have their eye on more goals when they face their local rivals. Milan’s win today sees them rise to 10th in the table and only two points off fourth.

Chievo are still without a win in Serie A this season as they remain bottom of the table. They face off against Atlanta in their next league meeting who currently sit in 17th place in the table. Chievo will take some confidence from scoring against Milan this afternoon and will look to bounce back and start climbing the table next time out.
