COURT GRANTS BAIL TO ARRAIGNED OKOROCHA’S SUPPORTERS AS STUDNETS OF ROCHAS FOUNDATION ORJI PROTEST IN SOLIDARITY FOR THEIR BENEFACTOR / Njoku Macdonald Obinna

Owerri, Imo State .

Imo Magistrate Court Owerri, early this afternoon granted arraigned supporters of Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha bail with the sum of N5,000.000.00 each and with the assurance of reappearing in court mid -March as traditional rulers from their various communities serve as their sureties. Prof. Nnamdi Obiaraeri , a trusted political ally of the former governor stood as a defense counsel for the Orlu Senator; who was reportedly writing an undertaking at the State Police Command Headquarters , Owerri.

Prof. Obiaraeri, an erudite scholar, and a former Commissioner for Information under the Rescue Mission Administration, while granting audience to the press who ambushed him immediately after the court session assured them that the rule of law must be respected and the matter is in good cause.

Meanwhile , at the moment, students of Rochas Foundation College Orji in the Imo North LGA, this morning matched in solidarity for their benefactor, H.E Rochas Okorocha, whom they described as a revolutionary global agent of change and Philanthropist of international repute .

The young stars , however , used the opportunity the medium has created to call the attention of President Muhammadu Buhari to quickly intervene over what they called plans by the Imo state Government led by His Excellency , Sen. Hope Uzodinma to send them back home to their poor parents across the African sub -region .
