Hussaini Mohammed, the Nasarawa State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, has on Thursday vowed to take legal action against any journalist who writes any report incriminating Fulani herdsmen in the state.
Hussaini stated this in a telephone chat with INDEPENDENT while reacting to the media report in the pages of newspapers on Wednesday over the killing of three police officers on the way to restore peace between Agatu and Fulani herdsmen in Maraba Udege in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, “Why should the word Fulani herdsmen be used anytime there is killings of people? That amount to criminalizing the entire Fulani tribe and we will not take that again.
“The media is the one fuelling this hatred against the Fulani people and we will sue any journalist whose report reflect this henceforth,” Hussaini said.
