You are acting like an appendage of the executive, court tells IMHSA as it voided the suspension of four members

An Owerri High Court presided over by Honourable Justice Anunihu has voided and set aside the Suspension of four Members of the Imo House of Assembly by the Speaker Achorom Ihi Ura led House of Assembly.

The Judge lambasted the leadership of the House of Assembly for making the legislature an appendage of the Executive. The Court ordered that they be allowed to resume their offices with immediate effect and all their entitlements paid up to date.

Recall that the Ikeduru, Mbaitoli, Isiala Mbano and Oru East House of Assembly Members were suspended because they refused to take oath and for being loyal to the Leaders Prince Eze Madumere, Senator Araraume and Hope Uzodinma respectively/ Eastern Telegraph
