LEADERS WILL REQUIRE LEADERS JUST AS BRANCHES ARE CONNECTED TO OTHER BRANCHES 2.

Dear Christian leader, you urgently need a leader, whether you are a pastor, a civil servant, or a business owner. You need a Priest and Mentor whom you would submit to, be accountable to, and who would lead you through some dangerous spots in life.
For the Lord said, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”… Jer 3:15
God is aware of the devastation caused among His people when knowledge is absent.

One primary tool in effective management is experience. Through mentorship, we leverage other people’s experiences to do better in life.

Your leader must be someone approved by Jesus. A leader whom you respect and honor, with your genuine interest at heart, and with an honorable track record.
Depending on your assignment, Jesus might choose to add or review this position at any given time.

You must be careful to determine this person’s relationship with Jesus.
He must be another leader in the body of Christ, approved by Jesus, with rich experience, discipline, and an honest track record.
He must be blessed with living testimonies. An honest leader whose task is to build you up so you can rise and emerge as a better blessing to Jesus Christ and His Church. See 1 Tim 3.

Do not forget that when you benefit from such leaders’ spiritual and material blessings, it is your duty to reciprocate genuinely. That’s the rule.

Who is a pastor?

The word “pastor” derives from the Latin noun pastor, meaning “shepherd,” and is related to the verb pascere – “to lead to pasture, set to grazing, cause to eat.” The term “pastor” also refers to the role of an elder in the New Testament and is synonymous with the biblical understanding of minister.

Looking at the above description of a pastor, no wonder the Lord said, “Then I will give you pastors after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.”… Jer 3:15

Every leader needs to be led, too. God is determined to allocate leaders to each of us. Be very careful around leaders with no reference. Those who are so arrogant as to refuse to submit to other leaders in the body. They forgot that no river has ever made an ocean. Oceans are collective efforts of the water bodies. Plenty of rivers make an ocean.
It’s not different from humans.

Beloved, as leaders and parents in the body of Christ, do not let your results today confuse you. Do not think that your submission to another leader is bringing you down. Nope, it’s how we are built up and grow.

Every coach today was once a player who needed a coach. It is arrogant to imagine you do not need a leader to submit to.

Let us be mindful of pride. God hasn’t changed His mind about resisting the proud but giving grace to the humble.
Meaning God will always help the humble but destroy the proud.

Beloved, a stand-alone Christian is a weak and exposed Christian. Every organ in our body is linked to another part. That’s how we function. It’s dangerous to stand alone in the body.

I once met an author who was asked to reference other Authors who inspired him. He arrogantly said, “Nobody inspired me.” I shook my head, but since then, he has never written a second book. Even the book he wrote might not be relevant to date. That’s how expensive arrogance could be.

As you do your best to get it right this year, may God never resist you in Jesus’ name.

This is your week.
