You issued one against Boko Haram years ago when they didn’t recognize your authority. Will you renounce the generations of mass murder, slavery and displacement of your ancestors, upon which your throne is built? Will you denounce your kinsman Ahmadu Bello’s demand for Sharia across all of Nigeria? Will you seek an end to the industrialized looting of minerals from your domain? Will you support a referendum for a new constitution and self-determination?
If not, your words are empty and will be recognized simply as taqiyya.
If you really want peace and co-existence, then stop the empty talk and do something about it. You have the power to make a difference, yet you do nothing.
