Gunmen Attack Soludo Chief of Staff’s Convoy in Anambra, Two Policemen Feared Dead
Suspected gunmen on Sunday night attacked the convoy of the Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo along the Amansea–Ufuma Road in Anambra State
Two police officers attached to the convoy were reportedly feared dead, while Dr. Ben Nwankwo escaped unharmed.
The Anambra State Police Command has launched a manhunt for the attackers, with Commissioner Ikioye Orutugu ordering tactical units to apprehend those responsible within 48 hours.
He condemned the attack and warned that criminals are now disguising as security personnel to carry out operations. Security operations have been intensified in the area.
