VDM has not denied authenticity of the video where Emilokan promised to deal with SE.. he only said he wasn’t the one that posted it. Shortly after wards an FCT minister threatened Oyo and Imo leaders. Not quite long an anonymous group announced secret plans to attack Enugu and Imo states.
Now Oyo security has been breached with the kidnap of school children. There was a reported but later denied attack on Agwo, Enugu state . Odimegwu, my friend, a sad jigsaw seems to be falling in place.
There are two approaches.. we must send a msg to would be attackers at home that we believe in repentance but we suspect that the holy book (s) will be placed on the corpse of apprehended attackers while believer recite the relevance verses on his/her behalf . As for kidnappers doubling as jihadists etc.., the transport companies should arrange with local vigilantes on dangerous routes .. the fare should include a responsibility to protect the passenger . SE is safer now and it must remain same.
