YESTERDAY: These two individuals: Isaac Nimjul from Langtang North and Jennifer Yaro from Jos South both from Plateau State are visitors to an inmate at Olokuta Prisons. They were apprehended while attempting to smuggle illicit drvgs (Indian hemp) concealed inside fresh tomatoes, intended for delivery to an inmate in custody.
They were arrested at the Akure Custodial Centre by officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service while trying to gain access to the facility.
The suspects were subsequently handed over to the NDLEA for further investigation and prosecution.
