BEN KALU WAS A FRAUDSTER IN SOUTH AFRICA, ORJI KALU MADE HIM FROM SCRATCH — BISHOP CHUKWU UDENSI DROPS BOMBSHELL
…Says Deputy Speaker’s leaked message is “web of lies” from a man who preyed on white men abroad
…Reveals how Senator rehabilitated a known con artist
The raging war of words between Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu took a dramatic spiritual and factual turn on Saturday, as a respected clergyman, Bishop Chukwu Udensi of Glory Assembly Umuahia, weighed in with explosive allegations that could forever alter the public perception of the Deputy Speaker.
In a detailed story exclusively obtained by our reporters, Bishop Udensi speaking not as a politician but as a man of God who claims to have followed both men’s journeys for decades delivered an eye opening rebuttal to Benjamin Kalu’s recent leaked message titled “I Made You. You Never Made Me.”
According to Bishop Udensi, every single claim made by Benjamin Kalu against Senator Orji Kalu is “a lie, a fabrication, and a classic case of a man who has forgotten where he came from.”
“Before Orji Kalu ever met Benjamin Kalu, the man now parading as Deputy Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was a known fraudster operating out of South Africa,” Bishop Udensi declared. “He ran multiple scams targeting white men, businessmen, retirees, small investors. He collected their money, faked documents, and vanished. That is the true story of Ben Kalu’s ‘diaspora experience.’”

The cleric claimed that several Nigerian businessmen in Johannesburg and Cape Town in the early 2000s were aware of Benjamin Kalu’s activities. “He wasn’t leading any Nigerians anywhere. He was running from the law. The only reason he came back to Nigeria was because his schemes collapsed, and his white victims started going to the police.”
Bishop Udensi said he decided to speak up because the Deputy Speaker’s constant media campaign against Senator Orji Kalu has crossed the line. “I have watched Ben Kalu tell lies after lies. He says he was ‘already made’ before meeting Orji Kalu. That is false. He says he donated millions to Orji Kalu’s campaign in 2002. That is laughably false. The man had nothing. He was a political nobody with a questionable past.”
Bishop Udensi went on to provide a counter-narrative to the detailed points raised in Benjamin Kalu’s leaked message, which had gone viral in political circles.
“Let me set the record straight, because I have known both men personally for years. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu did not ‘help’ Benjamin Kalu. He created him. From scratch. Zero to hero,” the Bishop said.
He dismissed Benjamin Kalu’s claim that he was the National Chairman of PDP in diaspora and attended conventions on invitation. “Those were ceremonial titles, not political power. They could not buy him local government chairmanship in Abia. That only came from Orji Kalu.”
On the claim that Benjamin Kalu fought Orji Kalu’s nomination in 2002, Bishop Udensi said: “That never happened. Ben Kalu was nobody in 2002. He could not have fought anyone. This is a fantasy he has cooked up years later to rewrite history.”
The Bishop also addressed Benjamin Kalu’s story about hoodlums, stolen primary election materials, and a reconciliation committee headed by Chief P.C. Onyegbu. “Fiction, they are pure fiction. If any of that happened, where are the police reports? Where are the witnesses? Ben Kalu lives in a world of his own making.
One of the most contentious claims in Benjamin Kalu’s leaked message was that Senator Orji Kalu did not help him become Deputy Speaker. Bishop Udensi called that “a slap on the face of political reality.”
“Everyone in the APC knows that Orji Kalu used his national network, his resources, and his political capital to back Ben Kalu for that position. And how did Ben repay him? By scheming against him, spreading falsehoods to the President, and playing the victim.”
The Bishop added: “Ingratitude is a disease, but Ben Kalu has turned it into an art form.”
Bishop Udensi also ridiculed Benjamin Kalu’s claim that he lost 11 million Euros because of Senator Orji Kalu’s imprisonment.
“Where did Ben Kalu get 11 million Euros from? He has never seen that kind of money in his life. He did not build any nine-year company in Europe. That story was designed to make him look like a suffering servant. It is a scam narrative—the same kind of stories he used to sell to his white victims in South Africa.”
According to the Bishop, the only “millions” Benjamin Kalu ever had were other people’s money. “He is a professional at taking what does not belong to him. That is his real biography.”
Bishop Udensi warned Benjamin Kalu to stop maligning his boss, who sacrificed alot to get him to where he is currently and never to forget the hen that plucked its feather during the rainy season, which will mean biting the finger that fed him
“Ben Kalu, you need to stop this lie campaign right now. You were not made before Orji Kalu. You were a fraudster on the run. He gave you a second chance. He gave you a name. He gave you power. And this is how you thank him?”
The clergyman said he is prepared to provide evidence of Benjamin Kalu’s activities in South Africa if the Deputy Speaker continues his media attacks.
“I am not a politician. I am a man of God. But I cannot sit back and watch a man rewrite history and destroy another man’s reputation with lies. I know the truth. And the truth is that Benjamin Kalu was a known scammer abroad, and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu made him from nothing.”
Bishop Udensi insists he stands by every word. “Let him deny it. Let him sue me. I have the names of his victims in South Africa. I have bank statements. I have people ready to talk. The only question is, does Ben Kalu really want to go there?”
As of press time, the Deputy Speaker’s media team had not responded to Bishop Udensi’s allegations
